Events to Occur
Many shall come in my name and deceive.
They will deliver you up to be afflicted, kill you, and you will be hated of all nations for my name’s sake
Many will be offended, betray, and hate one another
False prophets will arise
The love of many will wax cold
22 False Christs will arise and deceive
23 Wars and rumors of wars
25 Ye will be deceived and lied to
26 The coming of the Son of Man will be as the light of the morning covering the whole earth
27 the elect will be gathered from the four quarters of the earth

Promises to the Righteous

2.  Study 1 Nephi 22:16–22; Doctrine and Covenants 97:22, 25. Then write a statement that would give hope to a person who worries about the Second Coming.

That as long as you’re righteous and obedient and follow the prophet the Lord will guide you. He also will prepare you to lead you for the trials to whatever the world decides to go. The righteous people don’t need to fear and He will be with us. God gives us hope and tells us to be happy because He will save us; if we follow Him in everything that He commands us we shall escape from all wickedness.
