Project 2 Event Ad

WhitneyBillmanEventAd-P2.docx.

  • Description: Event Ad to help raise money for people in need of expensive prescriptions.
  • Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I scanned my image into Photoshop edited the picture to become the correct size and created the flier in Microsoft Word.
  • Message: The message I hope others will gain from my event ad is compassion for those who cant afford more expensive prescriptions they need and to make charitable donations.
  • Audience:  Customers at local pharmacies
  • Color scheme and color names: Analogous, Gold, Brown, Grey and White
  • Top Thing Learned: The top thing that I learned is that it is useful and benefical. It can be hard to stick with that color scheme when you run out of ideas but it creates a better sense of flow.

Whitney, I really like your ad! The first thing that stood out to me was the colors. I think you did a good job at using the image to determine what colors to use. In addition to this, you had a great image that really helped illustrate what the ad was for. You should check out this blog http://amywhatcott712.wordpress.com/2014/05/17/project-2-event-ad/

I really like this because it is simple enough for me to take the time to read it. You were clever with your words in the title and that made it more enjoyable to read. The colors you chose were good for the picture you used. Everything goes well together and it isn’t too crowded. Here is a link to mine.

  3. I really like how you did this ad. Everything looks really great and aligned, nothing is very distracting. The color scheme you used fits perfectly! Also you did a good job with your white space and providing a good message appropriate for your audience. Good job!

Whitney, I like your Ad it has a gray image that i can tell you edited around the bottle and that is very much impressive with the fact that we did this in word! But i think that the boxes on the left pull away from the image and could have been done maybe a little differently. But i do like how you repeated your color scheme that helped tie in the picture with the words. Good job .
